17.12.09The Whiteley Ridge hotel told SARC this evening that Foie Gras is not on their current menu and the delicacy of despair will not be back! Thanks to a new manager who seems to be bustling with compassion, the Whiteley Ridge is now Foie Gras free. SARC would like to extend our thanks to the new manager for making an ethical decision when she recently took over the hotel. The fight against Foie Gras is not over though. There are still restaurants across the packing the fatty liver into their menu, although their numbers are dwindling, and SARC promise that we will be fighting our campaign right into the new year against anyone who thinks animal abuse is acceptable.]!
